This is the Smallest SSD(solid state disk) developed by Intel, the Intel Z-P140 PATA. Because of the size smaller than a penny and weighs less than a drop of water, suitable for application in mobile internet devices, cellphones, and other media devices. The fast, low-powered and rugged disk is a part of the proposed Intel “Menlow” platform and comes in 2GB and 4GB capacities, extendable to 16GB.

For this coming january 2008, Intel is planning to launch its 45nm processors “Penryn” which consists of dual core “Wolfdale” processors and “Yorkfield” quad core processors. Prices are expected to increase somewhat compared to Intel’s previous roadmap, with the lowest priced dual core clocking in at around US$170, and the highest-priced quad core coming in at a reasonable US$270.
