According to HKEPC, Intel is going to launch its first gaming laptop powered by the new Core 2 Extreme processor in Q2/Q3 2007. The new mobile CPU, X7800 model, features a 2.6GHz speed, a 4MB of L2 cache, and a 800MHz front-side bus. Priced at $795, This powerful processor will have 64-bit capability and can be overclocked. Furthermore, Core 2 Extreme processors will use socket P, part of Intel’s forthcoming Santa Rosa notebook platform, which is also known as Centrino Pro.

Asus has announced the release of the Vista Edition of M2N32-SLI Premium motherboard. Planned to hit the Korea market in early March, the mainboard is based on AMD processor and fully support the new Windows Vista operating system from Microsoft. Boasting a high-speed perfomance, thanks to the additional memory and ASAP (ASUS Accelerated Propeller) technology, it comes with a remote control in which users can remotely turn on/off their PC, as well as schedule various task or software to run automatically with a simple press of a button.
