 According to HKEPC, Intel is going to launch its first gaming laptop powered by the new Core 2 Extreme processor in Q2/Q3 2007. The new mobile CPU, X7800 model, features a 2.6GHz speed, a 4MB of L2 cache, and a 800MHz front-side bus. Priced at $795, This powerful processor will have 64-bit capability and can be overclocked. Furthermore, Core 2 Extreme processors will use socket P, part of Intel’s forthcoming Santa Rosa notebook platform, which is also known as Centrino Pro. |
