The new Magellan RoadMate 3050T has all the features one looks in a premium GPS device. This compact GPS device will appeal to one and all as it offers real time updates and other high end features in a very sleek and stylish form factor. The GPS device also features the award winning and renowned Magellan user interface with the sophisticated speed and accuracy of Magellan NavEngine(TM) routing technology, an Intel XScale(R) processor and real-time traffic information. The Smart Detour function lets users route around freeway traffic and even lets one cover multi destinations.The Magellan RoadMate 3050T includes comprehensive maps and POI database thanks to NAVTEQ, a leading provider of digital maps. This basically means you can view data in either 3D or 2D to get a better grasp of data and locations. Though the device lacks Bluetooth, the other features more than make up for it. The RoadMate 3050T apart from a class navigation system is also a multimedia player. It has an integrated battery and also works as a photo viewer and a music viewer.As of now , no further details are available but the RoadMate 3050T should be available by June and users can buy it with the Magellan TrafficKit. The TrafficKit receiver is a very handy tool which is actually capable of processing and displaying real-time traffic information on the GPS Device. This means if there’s a traffic jam on the route you are about to take, the receiver alerts you. Via icons the Traffickit actually displays information like normal flow of traffic, lane reductions, road construction and accidents on the screen.All this has been possible thanks to Magellan’s collaboration with NAVTEQ Traffic RDS (Radio Data System) and now users can eliminate traffic woes from their journeys and take the quickest trouble free route.

Another day, another iPod docking station. This time it’s the i-Station8 from Logic 3, and as standard docking stations go, this one is pretty nice. Like every docking station it will take any iPod with a 30 pin connector and it charges the iPod as it plays via the AC adapter or, in a pinch, four AA batteries for mobility. The sound promises to be fairly good, owing to the active sub-woofer with passive bass radiator and the eight 2 watt speakers which are strategically placed to optimally make your ears bleed.The i-Station can be seen and not just heard, too. It has S-Video and Composite video outputs so you can watch pictures or video on your TV. You can even use it as an external speaker for your MP3 player, CD player, or even laptop or PC. It has a backlit LCD display for track information and a multi-function remote control. It is transportable �" it folds up and has its own carrying handle, and measures 198 x 216 x 75 mm. No word on price or availability.

It looks like LG is poised to muscle its way into yet another product category -- in Europe, at least -- with the new LN710 in-car navigation system. Running on Windows Mobile CE.Net 5.0, the SiRF Star III-powered model features a 300MHz processor, 4-inch, 320 x 240 pixel display, 64MB RAM / 32MB ROM, and an SD slot for loading up maps from the included CDs -- not too bad, but nothing that Garmin, TomTom, and friends will lose any sleep over. It's not exactly clear who's getting this model or when they'll be getting it, but we did see it on a German website for about $467 (including a 1GB card; packages with 256MB, 512MB, or 2GB cards will also be available), so that should give you some idea of the pricing structure. 

Lenovo has released MP3 player, in the shape of a cube. Measures of this fancy MP3 player are 70mm x 70mm x 70mm. Cybe has a built in speaker and a slot for SD/MMC memory cards.The Easy Cube M500 has supplying with 4 AA batteries. Cube can run MP3 and WMA music files. This MP3 player is very similar with MobiBLU DAH-1500i. Easy Cube don’t have FM radio. This device is available only in United States, not in the rest of the world.The Easy Cube M500 in USA cost around 50 dollars. In my opinion, this price is to high for this device. For 50 dollars, consumers need to get more functionality and more sophisticated device. Cube looks very cool but if you want quality, look on the other side. There are much better players on the market, with better sound quality, additional functionality and larger choice of accessoires.

One needs Pentium 200 MHz or better, Windows XP and 2000, Windows Media Player (9.0 or higher), 50 MB free hard disk space and USB 2.0/1.1 support and the player is now available and one needs to shell out $129 for 1GB model and $179 for 2GB model.
