ViewSonic has just launched a trio of new LCD monitors — the 19-inch VX1935wm, 20-inch VX2035wm, and 22-inch VX2235wm. Aimed at gaming and entertainment, these monitors offer a high-resolution display which will enhanced your viewing experience — 1440 x 900 resolution for the 19-inch model, and 1680 x 1050 resolution for the other two. Contrast ratio is set to 700:1 for the 19 and 22-inch LCDs, while the 20-inch monitor provides a contrast ratio of 800:1. Finally, the biggest from the trio delivers a brightness of 300 nits, and the rest gets a 280cd/m2 brightness level. They are sound impressive, right? Well, surprised, ViewSonic isn’t too greedy and currently offering these LCD monitors at a very afforadable prices. Respectively, from the smallest to the largest, the price is set to $199, $349, and $399. All of them come with a three-year warranty and a special Express Exchange program which ensures the replacement of any faulty piece with a new one (as long as the warranty period is on) within 48 hours. |

Samsung has just extended its Syncmaster LCD monitor line-up with the addition of the new 19-inch 931C display. This monitor, boasts 97% accurate color reproduction, features a native resolution of 1280 x 1024, a contrast ratio of 2000:1, a brightness of 250cd/m2, and a fast response time of 2ms. No words on pricing and availability though.
