Here the 3 new Bravia product line in HDTV, introduced by Sony. It’s powered by the BRAVIA ENGINE PRO, the x.v Color and comes in 40, 46 or 52 inches, available in PAL, SECAM and NTSC. With Full-HD panel displays HD images as they’re meant to be seen, in faithfully reproduced high-definition video. The new BRAVIA ENGINE PRO rendering engine fully digitalizes the image quality enhancement process with its high precision processing, while the x.v Color delivers a broader color gamut that ever before. Improvement of 20% compared to previous models in color-reproduction range, generating purer red, green, and blue, also high color gamut backlight system by incorporating Live Color Creation technology.

The new HDTV STV-20DV was presented by Scitec. The features are: 20-inch LCD monitor with HD Ready 1365×768 pixels resolution, 8ms response time, 700:1 contract ratio and 450cd/m2 brightness. The advance is the integrated DVD player that capable of playing DVD and DVD-R/RW, although there isn’t any HDMI connection option. Also, it’s still suitable for living and bedroom..

The Panasonic has just announce that it’s rating its best-selling line of 1080p Plasma HDTVs to play for 100,000 hours before reaching half brightness. Panasonic rates its current line of 720p Plasma HDTVs to play for 60,000 hours to half brightness or 25 years at six and a half hours per day. This means the new rating for 1080p Plasma HDTVs will push the duration to more than 42 years before they reach half of their original brightness level.
