 Sharp presents the World's largest 108V-inch LCD TV measuring 2,386 H by 1,344 V mm. It delivers the dramatic expansion for the range of screen sizes for LCD TVs in the market. Featured Black Advanced Super View Full-Spec HD LCD Panel, this Sharp is the first to use the eighth-generation glass substrates for its screen.
At present they are the leader integrating the feature in the panel, from 13V-inches to super-large-size class, it will of a massive growth. With high demands of higher resolutions, this Sharp achieved resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixel, which is four times higher than the current HD. They have the full-motion video response rate of 4 msec of 120 Hz making it the world most compact and largest of its kind. |

 ViewSonic updates its product portfolio with the new VX2235 LCD monitor. Recently introduced in Korea market, this widescreen monitor features a response time of 5ms, a viewing angle of 170/160 degree, a contrast ratio of 700:1, and a brightness of 280cd/m2. Furthermore, designed to be fully compatible with Windows Vista, it is also equipped with both DVI and D-Sub input ports. |

 Samsung presents two new LCD TVs under its Bordeaux series. One with 32-inch display, and other with 40-inch screen. Both TVs feature Samsung’s Super PVA Panel, a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, one HDMI port on the front, and two HDMI ports at the back. No words on pricing and availabity of these stylish LCD TVs though. |

 Taxan, a Japan-based DLP projector manufacturer (formerly named Plus), recently presents U6-232, its newest DLP data projector. Weighs 2kg, it features a brightness of 2,500 ANSI lumen, a resolution of 1,024×768 (XGA), and a noise level of 28dB. Moreover, it is equipped with a bunch of terminals, including audio in/out, monitor-out, and computer/S-Video-out ports. No words on pricing and availability though. |

 Sharp finally decides to join the Blu-Ray wagon with its debut, BD-HP1 player/burner. It is able to record up to 3 hours of HD video (17MBps) on a 25GB disk or 6 hours and 30 minutes on SD (8Mbps). Furthermore, the device is equipped with 2 i/LINK ports, 1 HDMI port, 1 D4 port, and Fami-Link, a universal remote control for all Sharp products. Sounds good, huh? Well, the bad side, it only supports single-layer disk burning. |
