The new 3-way SLI from NVIDIA can deliver up to 2.8x performance increase over a single GPU system, giving high-end gamers 60 frames per second at resolutions as high as 2560×1600 and with 8x antialiasing. So you can now play Crysis at high resolutions such as 1920×1200 with all the advanced DirectX 10 effects such as motion blur, ambient occlusion, and soft shadows turned on. Amazing product!

Recently, the Micron has just announced a new line up of SSDs for computing, enterprise server and networking applications, the Micron RealSSD. This one comes in variety of flavors and features a native-SATA II interface, and a rugged, lightweight plastic casing. The drives sports 1.8-inch and 2.5-inch form factor with storage capacity varing from 32GB to 64GB.

This is the Smallest SSD(solid state disk) developed by Intel, the Intel Z-P140 PATA. Because of the size smaller than a penny and weighs less than a drop of water, suitable for application in mobile internet devices, cellphones, and other media devices. The fast, low-powered and rugged disk is a part of the proposed Intel “Menlow” platform and comes in 2GB and 4GB capacities, extendable to 16GB.

For this coming january 2008, Intel is planning to launch its 45nm processors “Penryn” which consists of dual core “Wolfdale” processors and “Yorkfield” quad core processors. Prices are expected to increase somewhat compared to Intel’s previous roadmap, with the lowest priced dual core clocking in at around US$170, and the highest-priced quad core coming in at a reasonable US$270.
