P5E-V HDMI And P5E-VM HDMI, Motherboards from Asus |

 Recently, Asus has released two new motherboards, both with built-in HD support via HDMI port, Asus P5E-V HDMI and P5E-VM HDMI. Both supports 1333Mhz FSB, 800Mhz DDR2 (up to 8GB), Intel G35, and ICH9R chipset. It comes with Intel GMA X3500 which is quite monstrous for an integrated graphics engine with supports for DirectX 10, OpenGL 2.0, and ShaderModel 4.0. There are also a 7.1-channel HD audio, a Gigabit Ethernet, Firewire, 6 x SATA ports, 1 x IDE port, and up to 8 x USB ports.
The difference between the two motherboards are, Asus P5E-VM motherboard is using mATX design, while the other one, P5E-V, supports standard ATX structure. The former has one x16 PCIe slot, while the latter blessed with either x1 or x4 PCIe slot, as well as CrossFire support. via |
