VW-BN1 is the brand-new DVD burning solution from Panasonic, which has the masures 139 x 138.8 x 18mm and weighs 390 grams. It can run without PC (which makes it quite portable) and even supports Panasonic’s HDC-SD5 and SD7 camcorder as you can automatically burn your recorded movies (as well as those in AVHCD formats) onto DVD simply by plugging the USB connector and press the button.
Scheduled to hit the Japan market in late December, the recorder will work on DVD-RAM, DVD-RW, DVD-R, and DVD-DL media at 6x.
