PSP TV Tuner from Sony hit Japan |
|
Monday, 27 August 2007 |
Sony has added new value to the PSP. The Japanese PSP will be able to use their PSP to watch TV with Sony’s new PSP TV tuner. The PSP-S310 uses the cartridge port as connector to the PSP. The new thin PSP (PSP-2000) will be the only PSP model that is compatible with this TV tuner.
This new service is only available in Japan now, as the tuner is only planned for markets that support 1seg digital broadcasts at this point of time. Also, it will only work with the newly released, thin PSP models (PSP-2000), not the original model (PSP-1000.) The tuner is expected to be released on September 20th for ¥6980 (about $57 USD.) via |
