JVC has just released a SiRF Star III-powered navigation system to the European market, the KV-PX70 mode. Runs on Samsung’s 400MHz processor, the GPS device features a large 4.3-inch widescreen TFT display with touch screen user interface, 65K colors, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 480 x 272 resolution; handsfree Bluetooth kit, and an integrated RDS/TMC receiver for real-time traffic information. Like many other satellite navigation units, this one also packed with multimedia capability, including MP3 player and image viewer. Furthermore, JVC KV-PX70 GPS Navigation is pre-installed with Microsoft Windows CE.Net 5.0 operating system and has up to 5 hours of battery life. It will be retailed in the middle of December with a price tag of about 500 EUR ($600). The package will be bundled with a 1GB SD card preloaded with maps of France and Europes without borders.
