The FineDrive 500 is a navigation system from FineDigital which boasts a large 5.1-inch LCD touch screen display. Compared to the standard 3.5-inch screen that most GPS devices have, this one is pretty huge. Priced at $700 — well, that’s the price you have to pay for a big screen — it is preloaded with Navteq maps for the whole U.S and Canada. This data is saved on its built-in 128MB internal memory, thus leaving you an extra SD card slot for plugging in additional maps. Don’t expect multimedia capabilities though.
Other features include various display options, such as North-up/Heading-up, Day/Night View and 2D/3D. The company will probably display this FineDrive 500 GPS Navigation on the next CES 2007 event, so be sure to be there if you want to see it in action. Via |
