The FineDrive 500 is a navigation system from FineDigital which boasts a large 5.1-inch LCD touch screen display. Compared to the standard 3.5-inch screen that most GPS devices have, this one is pretty huge. Priced at $700 — well, that’s the price you have to pay for a big screen — it is preloaded with Navteq maps for the whole U.S and Canada. This data is saved on its built-in 128MB internal memory, thus leaving you an extra SD card slot for plugging in additional maps. Don’t expect multimedia capabilities though.

Other features include various display options, such as North-up/Heading-up, Day/Night View and 2D/3D. The company will probably display this FineDrive 500 GPS Navigation on the next CES 2007 event, so be sure to be there if you want to see it in action.
