Duros is the largest tablet PC from Roper Mobile technology, it’s environmentally sealed. It can carry anything from: • Wi-Fi • Bluetooth • GSM • GPRS • EDGE • UMTS • GPS
Depending on who they’re contracting for and what their needs are. Which also means you won’t be getting one. It operates on Windows XP (or Linux) has 8.4″ sunlight viewable, SVGA resistive touch screen and an AMD Geode LX 800 Processor or Intel Celeron M 1.0 GHz, and up to 1 GB memory. It comes with 120GB storage but if you must have the solid state drive you can go up to 64GB.
The most important feature that makes these rugged tables PC’s suitable for mission critical operation is their hot swappable batteries. With its 44Wh battery it consumes 5 W energy on standby, 15 W during operation so you can play solitaire at sub zero temperatures for up to 3 hours. It’s amazing. |
