Dangaard Telecom, a Danish company, recently presented the Aytobe, its new affordable portable navigation device. Powered by SiRF Star III GPS chipset, the device features a 3.5-inch colors TFT LCD display with 4:3 screen ratio, an Intel PXA255 300Mhz processor, a 64MB of onboard memory with SD/MMC card slot (up to 2GB supported) for additional storage, a USB 1.1 port, an integrated 1×1.5W speaker, and foldable GPS antenna. An infrared remote control is included in the bundle as well, thus making it easy to control the device while driving. Measures 130 x 76 x 23 mm, Aytobe GPS navigation runs on Windows CE.Net. Apart from the OS, a navigation assistant software Smart2GO and numerical charts Tele Atlas are pre-loaded on the device as well. Thanks to them, users can display the maps in either 2D and 3D view mode.
Dangaard will sell the Aytobe Portable Navigation Device with a price tag of 250 EUR, including taxes. Two version will be available, one with a 512MB SD card and other with 2GB SD card pre-loaded with maps of Europe. [ More ] [ Via ] |
