 We live in a world which is always on the go and it make sense now to release portable devices by a dozen. The latest gadget to join this lucrative on the go bandwagon is the K-PEX 100 , Portable Media Player which is a part of the Kingston’s Personal Entertainment eXperience (K-PEX) line of expandable, Flash-based portable media players.The K-PEX 100 is available in capacities of 1GB and 2GB, but one can also expand the storage capacity via the miniSD memory card storage slot. Transferring of files is a breeze, thanks to the USB 2.0 cable and drag and drop functionality. The player sports a 2" brilliant TFT color LCD screen where one can enjoy video or image playback. The player can support files like JPEG,MP3, AVI, MPEG 1 & 2, WMV, and ASF video files.The K-PEX 100 measures 3.7" x 1.8" x 0.57" (9.4 cm x 4.5 cm x 1.4 cm and weighs 0.14 lbs. (65 g). There is FM Radio too and the rechargeable lithium battery life is capable of 17 hours of playback. One needs Pentium 200 MHz or better, Windows XP and 2000, Windows Media Player (9.0 or higher), 50 MB free hard disk space and USB 2.0/1.1 support and the player is now available and one needs to shell out $129 for 1GB model and $179 for 2GB model.
