ParaNav is the GPS navigation system equipped helmet from Rockwell Collins. Apparently the Marines put in an order for 3000 of these hi-tech helmets for parachutists. ParaNav integrates a full-color display that attaches directly to goggles or helmet shields.
The helmet is more than just a GPS receiver and a dot on the screen. ParaNav also includes Wi-Fi interface for receiving Joint Precision Airdrop System data and even supports dead reckoning when GPS signals are not available
