Here’s the new kid on the GPS market — Map-Star. Powered by Samsung’s 400MHz S3C2440 processor, this navigation system runs on Windows CE 4.2 OS and Odyssey navigation software. To compete with other big boys, the device comes with an integrated SiRF Star III GPS receiver chipset, along with a 4.3-inch touchscreen display and multi-language voice guidance (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Korean). Maps of U.S and Canada, as well as over 1.5 million of POIs are already pre-loaded.
Planned to hit the store later this month, Map-Star GPS Navigation also doubles as a multimedia player with the ability to playback media files stored inside SD card slot. via |
