Samsung Releases BD-P1000 Blu-Ray Player in Korea |

 After previously released the world's first Blu-Ray player in the US market, Samsung has just announced that the BD-P1000 device will soon hit the Korean market as well, with a price tag 1,300,000 (KRW). Since it hit the shelves in June, this Blu-Ray player has been sold for more than 20,000 units in US market alone. It features both DVD and CD playback support, various HD resolution (720p/1080i/1080p), 192KHz LPCM, Dolby Digital and DTS sound system, MPEG2, and MP3 player. Later in October, the company will bring the player to Europe and Australia, with the goal of shipping 100,000 units worldwide by the end of this year.
