 The Panasonic has just announce that it’s rating its best-selling line of 1080p Plasma HDTVs to play for 100,000 hours before reaching half brightness. Panasonic rates its current line of 720p Plasma HDTVs to play for 60,000 hours to half brightness or 25 years at six and a half hours per day. This means the new rating for 1080p Plasma HDTVs will push the duration to more than 42 years before they reach half of their original brightness level. |

The AQUOS D64U LCD TV will be release by Sharp. This new design tried to increase LCD sizes without making the entire size of the set too big for anywhere-storage. In response to this, Sharp was able to make each set about 25 percent thinner and 20 percent lighter. All sets are 1080p-native and sport dynamic contrast ratios of 10,000:1 while improved black and red levels make viewing the HDTV all the more enjoyable. Every set also offers a 4ms pixel response time and a 176-degree viewing angle. Also provides three HDMI 1.3 inputs that will allow for better colors and enhanced 7.1-surround sound. Beside that, inputs also supports CEC and works with players Sharp Blu-Ray and other supporter equipments to control them through TV’s remote.

 This 52-inch HD-ready LCD TV from Sony will release in September, called Bravia KDL-52XBR. Capable to display 1080 Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with over 2 million pixels on the screen. Thanks to BRAVIA Engine PRO, everything from standard definition and high definition will be upconverted to 1080p for a realistic viewing experience. This new engine also incorporates Digital Reality Creation Multi-function (DRC-MF) v2.5 circuit which is able to process interlace and progressive video signals.
