 Sony recently unveiled its new product, the XDCAM EX camcorder, during the National Association of Broadcaster event in US. This video recorder takes advantage of the new Express Card format called SxS, and thanks to this, it has an impressive transfer rate of 800MBps for MPEG2HD videos on a 16GB cards.  Here’s another one digital camera, the Xacti E7 from Sanyo. Comes in an ultra-slim hood, this 7.1 digicam sports a large color LCD display and a 3x optical zoom lens with autofocus capability. Sadly, no optical viewfinder incorporated. No words on pricing and availability either, so let’s just wait for more detail from the company. |

This 7 megapixel camera sports a handy face recognition AF (auto-focus) & AE (auto-exposure) functions, guarantee an optimal result while taking a portrait photos. It also incorporated anti-handshake function, reducing the possibility of blurred image caused by unstable camera position. Other features include a 3x optical zoom lens, a bright 2.5-inch colors LCD display, up to ISO 3,200 sensitivity, and 21.9MB internal memory with SD/SDHC memory card support for additional storage. |

 Leica has just updated its line of C-Lux point-and-shoot digital camera with the release of C-Lux 2. This 7.2 megapixel camera offers a 2.5-inch colors LCD display, an ultra-short shutter delay, VARIO-ELMARIT lenses, and a 3.6x zoom. It’ll be retailed for $500 starting from May this year. |

By using this protector, you can take your camera down to 3 meters (10 feet) depth underwater, thus allowing you take a nice pic of underwater environment. And don’t worry about the controller buttons as those usually available on the back side of the camera are translated into some rubber keys on the housing. |
