 Samsung unveiled NV11, a digital camera with an impressive Face Recognition technology. No detail about this function yet, but I supposed it will detect the object’s face and automatically focus the camera on it. Other nice features are the auto exposure and Samsung’s intuitive Smart Touch user interface which allows users to easily navigate and access the camera’s functionalities. |

 Ricoh presented a new digicam under its famous Caplio series, the Caplio 500SE. It’s not just an ordinary digital camera though as it comes with a GPS functionalities which is still rare in the digicam market. However, the GPS module is not integrated yet. But in other hand, you are free to use your own external GPS receiver and connect it with the camera via Bluetooth connection. The 500SE itself is the fisrt GPS-ready digital camera from the company. |

 Pentax has just updated its product portfolio by releasing the Optio A30 digital camera. This 10 megapixel camera sports an optical stabilizer for sharper and clearer photos, up to ISO 1600 support, an Automatic Pursuit AF, Face Recognition AF and AE, a 10MB of onboard memory with SDHC support, and finally, a video recording capability in DivX format. |

 Nikon has just updated its digicam product portfolio with the new WiFI-ready CoolPix S50C digital camera. Available in silver color, the camera sports a 7 megapixel sensor, optical image stabilization, 3x optical zoom lens, up to ISO 1600, 3-inch colors LCD display, face tracking, AV slideshows, an da periscope-styled lens like those premiered in Minolta Dimage cams. Thanks to its built-in wireless connectivity, users will be able to directly email their snapped photos to the provided 2GB server space on the web for free. Regarding battery, unfortunately, it only provides juice for up to 130 shots per charge. |
