Sony has just introduced its first Digital HDVS cassetes-based PRO HD (High-Definition) Camcorder called HDW-790. Features include a 12bit A/D converter, In/Out HD-SDI port for uncompressed capture, AES/EBU input for digital audio, and slow shutter. I don’t understand any of those specs, but since it carries an incredible price tag of €40,000, I believe this stuff will deliver wonderful result to pros.
