 Maybe you don’t believe it, but it does exist. Istanbul, long regarded as the capital city of the Roman Empire and Europe’s most populous city, is slated to open an underwater hotel by 2010. Built underneath the city’s center, the 7 floor, seven star (I thought it went to 5) hotel will feature all ocean facing rooms, an exhibition hall and restaurants. If you’ve seen Jaws three then you’ll probably opt for the cultural experience, at least the sleeping part, above water. |

The company behind the in-flight WiFi is feverishly working around the clock to prepare 15 of AA’s 767s and all of Virigina America’s planes by Spring of this year (’08). The service will cost $12.95 for cross country flights, and $9.95 for legs 3 hours or less. Connection speeds are spec’d at 2mbps, which sound advantageous to say the least. Aircell plans to partner with the likes of T-Mobile and company in what will likely be a rev share agreement. |
